Shipping & freight
Shipping method, cost and timing depend on the item and destination and are shown or confirmed during checkout. Bulky or freight items may require a separate quote.
This service is for BMW DME and DDE units with a production date of June 2020 or later that are hard locked. Your DME production date is not the same as your vehicle build date, so check the date printed on the unit itself before ordering.
Once unlocked, the ECU can be read and written in bench mode with the supported professional tuning platforms, so your tuner can calibrate the vehicle normally.
Compatible ECUs: Bosch MG1CS024, Bosch MG1CS049, Bosch MG1CS201, Bosch MD1CP032, Bosch MD1CS001, BMW DDE8, BMW DME8.
We are based in Australia. Same day unlock is available on supported units by appointment at our workshop, so there is no need to ship your ECU to Europe. If you are not local, you can mail the unit to us and we will return it by insured freight. We do not ship unlocked units to Europe.
Do not open the ECU or DME before sending it. Opened, water damaged or previously repaired units may not be accepted. ECU or DME removal and refitting are not included in this service. Confirm your ECU part number and production date with us before ordering, because the vehicle model alone does not determine what will unlock.
