What is included in an xHP bundle?
Each MPerformance.parts bundle is an xHP Pro Flash Licence plus the matching map pack for your transmission type. The list price includes installation by MPerformanceParts, so you are not buying a licence you then have to flash yourself.
Installation: how it works
xHP bundles from MPerformance.parts are not DIY install. You select the software stage you want when you order, then contact us to book installation with an official MPerformanceParts dealer. Your gearbox is flashed in a controlled session so the correct map pack ends up on the correct transmission — no guesswork, no bricked TCUs.

Before you order
- Confirm the transmission family first. ZF 8-speed, M DCT 7-speed and 6-speed automatic are different bundles. If you are not sure which unit is in your car, use our BMW 8HP Transmission Identification guide.
- Confirm the chassis generation. F-Series and G-Series use different map packs even though both are 8-speed.
- Confirm the current state of the gearbox. Tuning is applied on top of the existing hardware condition, so disclose any faults, slips or recent work when you book.
- Plan for vehicle downtime. Installation is booked and scheduled rather than a walk-in flash.

Can I buy the xHP licence and flash it myself?
These bundles are supplied with installation by MPerformanceParts and are not offered as DIY install. If you are after a DIY xHP licence, contact us and we can discuss what is available for your exact transmission and vehicle.
Will xHP work on my standard BMW automatic?
xHP maps the transmission control unit, so the bundle must match the transmission family and chassis generation in your car. Confirm both before ordering.
Do I need to tell you my VIN?
Yes — the VIN helps us confirm the transmission fitted to your car and the correct map pack. Add it to the Parts Request form when you enquire.
Can xHP fix a gearbox that is already slipping?
Tuning changes transmission software behaviour. A mechanical or hydraulic fault should be diagnosed and repaired first. Send us the fault details and we will advise whether tuning is appropriate for your unit.
